COSTA RICA Preconstruction World renowned for

Property Rights:
Costa Rica law protects private ownership via a Public
Registry of its land. Most property is sold fee simple just like
in the US. Further, foreigners share equal property ownership
rights!
Taxation:
There are NO capital gains in Costa Rica and the Property
Tax rate is ONLY 0.25% on the declared value of the
property.
Government:
One of the oldest democracies in the Americas, since
1889, and in 1948, the government abolished the army. Furthermore,
perpetual neutrality was proclaimed in 1983.
Medical:
Offers modern facilities comparable to the United States, at a
fraction of the cost, and Jaco recently opened a new Clinic in
2006.
Moody's recently improved
Costa Rica credit rating: "Moody's based its
decision on the improved fiscal status of the country, promoted mainly
by restrictions on spending which allowed for a larger
surplus."
Climate:
Maybe the most inviting characteristic of Costa Rica is its
climate. In the Central Valley, the temperature ranges from the
high 60's to mid-80's year round. On the Central
